Usage & Privacy Policy

1. What Admado is — and what it is not

Admado is a software platform that education consultancies ("organizations") use to manage university applications for their students: document collection, AI-assisted drafting and review, application tracking, and communication between counselors and students.

Admado is a technology provider only. We are NOT an education consultancy, an immigration adviser, a visa agent, a university representative, or a financial institution. Every consultancy on the platform is an independent business with no employment, agency, partnership or joint-venture relationship with Admado.

All advice, recommendations, promises, and services offered to students come from the organization and its counselors — not from Admado. Admado does not review, endorse, or verify the advice organizations give through the platform.

2. No responsibility for organizations' conduct

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Admado is not legally responsible or liable for anything an organization or its staff do or fail to do — including (without limitation) the accuracy of counseling advice, the handling of student documents, application outcomes, admission decisions, scholarship promises, visa outcomes, refund disputes, or any fees and money collected by an organization from its students.

Admado does not process, hold, or transfer money between students and organizations. All payments, fees, deposits and refunds are arranged directly between the student and the organization (or the student and a university/embassy), entirely outside the platform. Any payment dispute must be resolved with the organization.

University admission and visa decisions are made solely by universities, governments and embassies. Nothing in the platform — including AI-generated match scores, readiness scores or drafted materials — is a promise or prediction of admission or visa success.

3. Your responsibilities as an organization admin

You confirm your organization is a lawfully operating business entitled to provide education consulting in its jurisdiction, and that you hold whatever licenses or registrations local law requires.

You are the data controller for your students' personal data. You must obtain each student's informed consent before entering their personal data and documents into the platform, and you must honor their rights (access, correction, deletion) under applicable data-protection law.

You are responsible for the accounts you create (counselors, students), for keeping credentials secure, and for everything done under your organization's accounts.

You agree not to use the platform for fraudulent applications, forged documents, misrepresentation to universities or embassies, or any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate organizations engaged in such conduct.

4. Data we process, and how

The platform stores the data your organization enters: student profiles (names, contact details, academic scores), uploaded documents (transcripts, passports, bank statements, test reports), applications, chat messages, interview-practice recordings' transcripts, and generated materials.

AI features are central to the product. Student data and documents are processed by third-party AI providers (currently Anthropic for text/document intelligence and OpenAI for voice interview practice) to deliver extraction, drafting, review and scoring. These providers process data under their own enterprise terms; we do not permit them to train on your data where such controls are offered.

Documents are stored encrypted at rest where the platform provides for it (e.g. stored portal credentials), transferred over TLS, and access-controlled by role and organization. Data is isolated per organization — one consultancy can never see another's students.

We retain organization data while the organization account is active. On termination, data is deleted or returned on request within a commercially reasonable period, except where law requires retention.

5. AI output requires human review

AI-generated content — document extractions, match recommendations, drafted letters and résumés, bank-statement checks, interview scores and coaching — is advisory and can be wrong. The platform is designed so that a human counselor reviews AI output before it is used; organizations agree to maintain that review.

Admado is not liable for decisions made in reliance on AI output, including submitted applications, financial-document assessments, or interview-readiness judgments.

6. Service, availability and changes

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable. We may suspend organizations for non-payment of platform fees, for security reasons, or for breach of this policy.

7. Limitation of liability and indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Admado's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the platform shall not exceed the platform fees paid by the organization in the twelve months preceding the claim. Admado shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill.

The organization agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Admado from claims brought by students or third parties arising from the organization's services, advice, fee arrangements, data-protection failures, or breach of this policy.

8. Contact

Questions about this policy or data requests: tech@admado.com. We will update this policy as the product evolves; material changes will be notified to organization admins in-app, and continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
